‘Chasing Gold’, Logbook article
The Log Book magazine represents a cross-section of international wood-fired ceramics. Edited by Coll Minogue and Robert Sanderson, it is published 4 times annually. Issue 49, published in February 2012 is a special issue on Woodfire soda glaze, in which you’ll find an illustrated essay by me, ‘Chasing Gold’. The publication is a ‘must have’ for anyone making wood-fired pots or sculpture, or any students with an interest in the subject. Their website features a very useful Events Calendar, Recommended Reading, along with details on subscriptions and submitting an article.
