Wobage Makers Gallery ‹ Jeremy Steward

Wobage Makers Gallery is open 10am – 5pm, Thursday to Sunday. Other days by appointment. The next Wobage exhibition in 2012 will be for H’art, Herefordshire’s Art Week, 8th – 16th September 2012.

The gallery displays the work of selected makers who have studio space at Wobage. Ceramics by Sheila Casson, Patia Davis, Sheila Herring, and Jeremy Steward. Furniture and wood by Ben Casson. Jewellery by Clair Hodgson. Basketry by Clyde Jefferson. The gallery displays a good range of my own current work. If you are looking to buy specific items, please contact me in advance; There is often further availability of work that is not on display.

In addition, the gallery displays blue and white decorated stoneware by Andrew and Clare McGarva, along with a selection of their slipware in earthenware, which includes medieval-style floor tiles. During exhibitions, Clare also displays her hand-embroidered, indigo dyed fabrics. Furthermore, the mixed media sculpture of Lucy Casson is also always in stock. During exhibitions you will find a wider range of her work.

The gallery is situated in a stunning rural location, 4 miles from Ross-on-Wye. Set within magnificent 18th century, traditional Herefordshire barns, the work is curated by the makers themselves.
