New hot pots at Wobage
Tomorrow, I will unpack pots from the wood salt-kiln in preparation for our Christmas exhibition opening at Wobage on Saturday 24th November. A very big thank you to Jack Welbourne and Ana Simmons for their stoking skills and stamina. Tuesday was a long and soggy day, but it was a smooth firing, and we are now all anticipation for the results tomorrow, Friday 23rd. These will include new slab-built bottles and a wide range of domestic pots which include Ana’s standard-ware mugs and cream jugs.
The exhibition continues after this weekend up until Christmas, when the gallery will be open Thursday to Sunday, 10am – 5pm. We look forward to welcoming you to the exhibition, please join us for fresh coffee or a glass of Wobage perry and home-made mince pies.
