Wood-fired salt-glaze, decorated with finger-wipes and scrafitto through porcelain/kaolin slip. Wheel-thrown black stoneware, fired to 1300*C. This generous mug holds a copious cuppa, 350ml or a good half pint. The pot is fired on refractory wadds, hence the decorative halos to it’s base. This serves to elevate and separate the pot from the shelf to prevent it binding. The liner is my willow-ash glaze, a duck-egg blue which offers a cool contrast to the warm Autumnal colours of the outside.
Multiple item purchases to the same address will incur additional P&P of £3 per pot. Most items will be posted via Royal Mail Signed For 2nd Class Delivery, larger pots via courier. If you are local to Wobage Pottery you can pick-up to avoid P&P charges altogether. You can opt for this during the payment process.
